You will need to fill out the application package and return it to our office with all of the necessary documentation in order to be considered for enrollment. Our Main Office is located at:

11001 East Alameda Avenue, Aurora, CO 80012

We reccommend hand-delivery, but we will also accept mailed, faxed, or emailed appliactions.

The date we receive your completed application package will be the application date.

For the 2012-2013 School year, we will hold a lottery on February 6, 2012. By that date, if we exceed our capacity, any students who were not selected will be put on a waiting list according to their completed application date. We will notify you when the space becomes available. If the capacity is not exceeded by the cut-off date, all students will be accepted and we will continue to accept students on a first come, first served basis.

It is important to apply early since the completed application date will determine priority on the waiting lists.

Those who have sibling(s) at Lotus have priority over others.

Please note that Kindergarten is a full day program and parents must pay a $200/month fee for 10 months. If you are applying for Kindergarten please choose K as the grade you are applying to.

Please be sure to provide the following documents in order to ensure your application package is complete:

• Immunization Records
• Birth Certificate
• Proof of Residency with guardian name (heating bill, water bill, etc)
• Parent or Guardian Identification (Driver’s License, Passport)

Placement Test

Please note that we require all incoming Secondary (6-12 grades ) students to complete a Math placement test. The Math Placement test will be administered for all students on April 14, 2012 at 10 am. 
This test does not determine eligibilityt; it helps us to accurately determine each student's math level so that they can be challenged and not be overwhelmed. Please plan two hours for the test. Parents do not have to stay at the school to wait. If your child performs below grade level, s/he will be required to attend summer school.

Fees:

During the enrollment process we require each family to pay a non-refundable $50.00 student fee and purchase LSE uniform shirts. Click here for more information about our dress code and uniform policy.

There is also a $50 annual equipment usage and material fee. This fee will be waived if you are eligible for free lunch and will be reduced to $20 if you are eligible for reduced lunch. 

High School Credit transfer:

If you come from another high school, please note that Lotus only transfers grades C and above as we do not accept D in our gradebook. The classes with grade D will not be counted towards graduation.
