LSE celebrated Red Ribbon week on 10/31. Red Ribbon Week is the oldest and largest drug prevention campaign in the country. The week serves as a vehicle for communities and individuals to take a stand through a commitment to drug prevention and education, and a personal commitment to live a drug free life. As a school we celebrated this week from Monday October 31 to Friday November 4.
LSE welcomed Mr. Casey Clark, he has spent over 25 years as a clinical pharmacist and currently works with a non-profit organization called A chronicle of drug abuse. Mr. Clark brought in homemade "pill sculptures" showing the different stages of drug use in a human body. He talked to our students about the dangers of drug use, and the importance of drug prevention.
