To apply Lotus School for Excellence for admission, please complete the online Application Form. This Step reserves your student a spot for the lottery (Typically happens late February-early March). Step one does not guarantee a spot for upcoming school year.
STEP 2 (Application Package)
After the Lottery, the families of students will be contacted orderly to complete the rest of the application process. Those who have sibling(s) at Lotus have priority admission. During this step, families are required to complete the whole application package and provide necessary forms, including, but not limited to academic, behavior and attendance related documents. Applicants will be provided with the student handbook at this time. Families are required to review, sign and return the student conduct contract with their application packet.
By the lottery date, if applications exceed the capacity, students who were not called at this time will be put on a waiting list according to their placement number. LSE will notify you when the space becomes available. If the capacity is not exceeded by the cut-off date, all students will be accepted and LSE will continue to accept students on a first come, first served basis.
Applications received after the lottery date will be added to the bottom of the waiting list. It is important to apply early since the completed application date will determine priority on the waiting lists.
STEP 3 (Meeting with Academic Dean)
A meeting with the academic dean (typically a half an hour) is required to complete the admission. This is a great opportunity to go over the expectations, school culture, answer any possible questions and for a brief school tour. Appointments will be made at your convenience.
STEP 4 (Pre-Registration)
Pre-Registration week is 2 weeks before the school start-date and is required for all students entering 6th-12th grades. Parents are expected to check-in with the main office to make sure all documents are complete and student is ready for school
